Peacekeepers

Index -> Playing the Game -> Voting Sessions -> Resolving the Vote -> Peacekeepers

The peacekeepers are, in theory, a non-partisan fleet of ships funded and operated by all member races in the Republic. In practice, however, corruption exists all throughout the crews of these ships, and they can be influenced to act on behalf of a specific agenda. The Peacekeepers vote represents your ability to exert such influence.

When you win a Peacekeepers vote, one peacekeeper ship (a type of cruiser with a greater attack value, but lower defense value) is created under your control. You also get another peacekeeper ship for each other time you have won the Peacekeepers vote during the game.

For example: When you win the Peacekeepers vote for the first time, you get one peacekeeper at the Star Chamber. The second time, you get two peacekeepers; the third time, three; and so on.

The Peacekeepers vote is not awarded in the event of a tie for first place.
