Human Racial Profile

Well...as you may know, Humans come in all shapes and sizes. They are a race of Order and Life, and promote peace and prosperity. They excel at production and work hard at maintaining a high culture amongst the many races.

Male Humans average 5'8" and can be taller than seven feet. Female Humans average 5'3" and can also be taller than seven feet, given enough hormone problems. Skin tones range from pure white (albino) to dark almost blackened skin.

Humans can live in a variety of climates but need oxygen to survive. Their space vessels are advanced and work well in groups. Their many leaders and lauded heroes are best when they fight together, and their diplomacy is second to none.

Humans are well respected throughout the galaxy for being fierce strategists and their influence over other races and worlds is unparalleled.

Human History

While you may _think_ you know what happened, you have no idea...

In the 1930's the Zhikanii first scouted out Earth but Imperial Laws prevented the Slugs from 'employing' humanity.

But it was only a matter of time.

In the 23rd century, after international war had decimated whole nations and ecosystems, the Zhikanii arrived and conquered humanity with little struggle. Most humans were put to work in deep core mines and algae production labs.

Some were allowed to live their lives unchanged - whole nations were left untouched save for border patrols that kept these 'free zones' apart from the slave nations. Thousands of humans were studied - both psychologically and anatomically (often the latter was more merciful).

The Zhikanii mastered human neurobiology and took to making mind-control implants that worked remarkably well on their subjects. The leaders and thinkers of the 'free zone' were often implanted though the Zhikanii did not use the implants - saving them instead as 'sleepers' for the day they'd need them. The Zhikanii also found great joy in toying with the human genome. Thousands of children were modified - given psychic 'wiring' in their minds and made especially 'compatible' with Zhikanii implants and telepathy.

Hundreds of years into the Zhikanii occupation, the Omior Exodus fleet arrived in Sol and realized that Earth resembled Garden - only a far more industrialized and ravaged Garden. The Omior purchased France from the Zhikanii and landed on Earth and met with many of the Humans. They promised to help the humans if, in return, all humans would agree to protect and preserve their planet. The Omior attacked Earth and the Zhikanii ripped the Omior fleet apart. However, the Omior used the space battle as a decoy to land thousands of Omior soldiers who ousted the Zhikanii on the ground. Most humans saw only the space battle not the partisan warfare that happened in the Zhikanii luxury castles far away from the crowded slave ghettos. Most humans assume the Omior tired to attack, failed and then for some reason the Zhikanii got up and left.

After learning about the jumpgates from the Omior, the Humans began expanding into space but were slow to travel into the space of other races. Instead, other races came to them. A research station outside of Jupiter created a scientific breakthrough - a 'baseball singularity.' This contained black hole roused the ire of the Androids a recently created race that had been constructed (not that the humans knew this) in the image of the Humans. When the Androids saw that the Humans were 'reaching through' they assumed that yes indeed, the Humans were capable of great destruction and needed to be beaten, crushed and enslaved so that their destructive nature can be stoked and controlled.

The Androids slaughtered the research station at Io and the first-responding Earth forces were also picked apart by the potent Android forces. The Humans, having endured generations of being subservient to aliens, counter-attacked with unprecedented vigor. During this 'Jupiter Initiative' campaign the Human forces outmaneuvered the Androids under the leadership of Vice-Admiral Ismitta and sent the robots fleeing back to Kryndor. Right after receiving her promotion, Ismitta insisted the battle be taken to the Androids homeworld to send a lasting message. Tracking the retreating Androids, the Earth fleets arrived at Kryndor only to encounter ships appearing out of rips in space and the massive Dreadnaught flagship. The combat ended in a draw with both sides suffering massive loses. The Humans made a fighting withdraw but the message had been sent loud and clear - Earth was not to be trifled with.

The Emperor got word of the humans and their incredible valor against the deadly and enigmatic Androids and personally invited their leaders to attend the Star Chambers opening.

And the rest is history.
