	Galaxy Status Index -> Playing the Game -> The Game Screen -> Galaxy Status In the upper-left corner of the map is the Galaxy Status (8), indicating the current turn and phase. The symbol at the left of the Galaxy Status bar indicates the state of peace or war in the galaxy. A white dove indicates the galaxy is at peace, while a red mushroom cloud indicates the galaxy is at war. Many cards have game text that triggers off peace or war status.
