Index -> Interface -> Deck Builder -> Constructing Your Deck
Using your online collection, you can create decks for casual games and Constructed tournaments.
The top portion of the screen is a "collection container" showing all the cards in your collection. The bottom portion is a "deck container" showing the cards in the deck currently under construction. On the left side of the screen are the Options and Filters & Search areas, and a magnify window for seeing larger images of any card you mouse-over.
The collection container and deck container can be viewed in either Graphic View or Table View. Table View hides the illustrations, but allows you to sort by card title or attributes.
You can add cards to your deck in three ways:
- Double-click a card to add one copy;
- Drag-and-drop a card to add one copy; or
- Right-click a card and select the number of copies you'd like to add to or remove from the deck.
Selecting a race for your deck
You must select a primary race for each deck. However, you are free to include cards from other races if you wish. (If you are new to building your own decks, this is not recommended.)
At the top of the deck container is a dropdown menu listing all the available races. For ease of reference, symbols of the two techs associated with each race are also listed. When you select a race, you'll hear a quick musical confirmation of your choice, and the Deck Builder will automatically filter out all the cards in the collection container that don't fit that race's tech structure.
See the section on Filters & Search Options for more information on searching your collection for specific cards.
